[Alliance December 2018] OrneHaneul's affiliated law firm Alliance held a year-end party in Tokyo, Japan
OrneHaneul Law Firm hosted its third-year-end party with its affiliated law firm Alliance members, including Toranomon Chuo Law Firm from Japan, Broad & Bright Law Firm from mainland China, CFN Law Firm from Hong Kong, and Stellex Law Firm from Taiwan. The event took place at Okura Hotel in Tokyo from December 17 to 18.
This year was particularly significant for OrneHaneul's affiliated law firm Alliance. Following two years of cooperation, OrneHaneul Law Firm and Toranomon Chuo Law Firm officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a strategic partnership in May. Various important events followed, such as the visit of Toranomon Chuo Law Firm attorneys to Korea and the participation of the representatives of the five law firms in the opening ceremony of Stellex Law Firm in Taiwan.
The year-end party was attended by around 200 people, including partners from the five law firms and clients from major Japanese corporations. The agenda included partner attorneys' year-end greetings, a briefing on business activities, event activities, and the introduction of new attorneys.
During the event, representatives from several major Japanese companies, including Sumitomo Corporation, Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, ICHIKEN, Haneda Turtle Service, and Uyeno Kosan, had the opportunity to interact with attorneys from OrneHaneul Law Firm, fostering conversations about legal matters in Korea.
In addition to the official year-end party, the partner attorneys from the five law firms also had an informal gathering and a standing party, strengthening their bonds, exchanging insights, and enhancing cooperation for future business endeavors.
OrneHaneul Law Firm promised to continue strengthening business cooperation and exchanges with Alliance members in 2019 to meet the international business demands of their clients.
